wab kinew

Wab Kinew (pron: WOB ka-NOO) is a one-of-a-kind musical talent and one of the artists "to watch for" emerging from the Prairie Provinces. A member of the Hip Hop group Dead Indians, Wab will release his debut solo album, "Live by the Drum", in late 2008. "Live by the Drum" also describes the sound of Wab's music, which mixes the urban rhythmic feel of hip-hop with the power and presence of the Pow-Wow drum. Wab has also been nominated for Best Music Video and Best Rap or Hip-Hop Music Video for the single "If This Was Right" for the 2008 Aboriginal Peoples' Choice Music Awards.

C-Weed

Errol Ranville has been recording as C-Weed since 1980. Errol has released 17 albums to date. In 1980 the C-Weed Band, still an unknown, stunned the Country Music world upon the release of Robbie Robertson's song Evangeline, on Errol's first album, "The Finest You Can Buy". The song quickly rose to # 1 on the Canadian Country Radio charts, and marks the beginning of C-Weed Band popularity. Two years later the C-Weed band struck gold again as the song High and Dry, written by Jagger-Richards, also went #1 on the Country Music charts. Now wanting to write his own music, Errol recorded several albums (and continues to) using his own penmanship. Magic in the Music was nominated for a Juno Award in 1985 & 1986.

C-Weed has sold over 30,000 copies of the "Run as One" CD since its release in 2000.

The CD "Hey!" sold over 3500 copies within the first 3 months of its release.

Lost Priority

On the surface, this band's heavy fullness is reminiscent of Staind and Three Days Grace, but underneath the layers of heavy melodic vocals, chugging guitars, and hard hitting drums, this band has a sound all their own. Beauty may only be skin deep, but this band will rock you to the bone.
